The Coleman company manufactures 2 types of camping stoves, propane stoves and liquid fuel stoves.
Most models of both the propane and liquid fuel include wind baffles so you can cook outdoors without the wind causes issues while you are cooking.
Coleman is the only company that manufactures a multi-burner version of the liquid fuel versions. Liquid fuel tends to burn hotter and are not affected by altitude. The liquid fuel stoves can be harder to start and require more maintenance than the propane versions.
For family outings, a propane stove will be the better opinion. The propane stoves require disposable propane canisters which are available at any store that sells basic camping equipment. Propane stoves are easy to start.
